家形の天井と舞台状のリビング
渋谷区の集合住宅の内装のリノベーションである。街の中心地区に位置するこの分譲マンションは、オフィスと住居の混在する大規模な集合住宅である。オーナー家族は、仕事も別フロアでしながら、子どもの育児も行っている。古いその集合住宅は、4人家族で住むには収納が少ないが、セントラルヒーティング用に天井高が2.7mあり、その有効高さを最大限使用し、リノベーションを行った。床側には床下収納を設け、リビング全体を小上がりステージ（舞台）とした。リビングと外、リビングとダイニングを仕切るカーテンは緞帳のようにデザインした。平面計画は、廊下によって狭い各個室をつなぐような商品化マンションの無駄を極力無くすために、移動するだけの廊下を無くし、中心部に配したダイニングがどの部屋にも隣接するような計画とした。

“Pitched-roof ceiling and stage-like living room”
A renovation project for a condominium in a large-scale residential/ office building located in Shibuya’s central district. The owners raise their children while having a workspace on a different floor of the building. This condominium, built quite some time ago, does not have enough storage space for the family of four. However, the building was designed with a ceiling height of 2.7m to accommodate the central heating system, which allows for a flexible design for renovation by fully utilizing the ceiling’s clearance. We provided storage underneath the house’s floor, resulting in a slightly raised stage-like living room. The curtains divide the living room from outside and the dining room like stage-curtains. The floor plan was designed to eliminate the area’s losses typically found in a ready-made condominium that links small segmented individual rooms with corridors. Therefore, all the corridors were eliminated, and each room was planned around the dining room allocated at the center.
